Well-being has been at the core of my work for over 15 years. Starting as a dietitian, I focused on empowering individuals and groups to improve their health and prevent illness. It was through this work that I developed an interest in the strong connection between mental and physical health, and the transformative role meditation plays in maintaining well-being.
Over the last two years, I have led mindfulness wellbeing day retreats, providing restorative experiences. Live Me Happy was established to bring the benefits of mindfulness to organisations, offering a sustainable approach to enhancing workplace culture.
I have long been passionate about helping others improve their health. Working as a dietitian within the NHS, I used coaching techniques to support patients in making behavioural changes that positively impact their health. I have further refined my coaching expertise through the completion of a Level 5 NVQ qualification in professional life coaching and am a registered member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, UK. Since then, I have coached managers navigating organisational change and individuals making career transitions, helping them build confidence, resilience, and clarity to achieve their goals.
With over 25 years of meditation experience, my journey began with the practice of Raja Yoga meditation. This deeply spiritual approach laid a strong foundation for my understanding of inner stillness and self-awareness. Over time, I discovered mindfulness meditation, which resonated deeply with me for its practical applications in everyday life and its well-documented health benefits. Mindfulness not only enriched my personal practice but also inspired me to share its profound impact with others, blending ancient wisdom with modern science to support well-being and resilience. In 2021, I trained as a mindfulness teacher with the UK College of Mindfulness Meditation.
Having personally experienced the benefits of mindfulness, I am deeply passionate about sharing this life-changing practice with others. Having worked in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, I’ve seen firsthand how mindfulness can be a powerful tool for managing stress and enhancing well-being. In every setting where I’ve introduced mindfulness practices, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. My mission is to help people realise that there is always time for mindfulness and to inspire them to embrace it as a cornerstone of self-care and resilience.
As a mindfulness teacher and professional coach, my work is always centered on cultivating and experiencing joy. I believe that joy is a powerful force that enhances well-being, promotes connection, and drives meaningful engagement, both in life and at work. My passion for joy in the workplace stems from my studies in quality improvement in healthcare, where I learned how essential joy is for creating environments where people thrive. This understanding shapes my approach to coaching and teaching, helping individuals and teams tap into their innate capacity for joy, even amidst challenges, to unlock greater creativity, purpose, and satisfaction.
While I primarily work independently, I also collaborate with other practitioners and therapists when appropriate to provide holistic support that meets your specific needs.
